Meet two of our latest fundraisers, Becky Brennan and Matt Selway.

Every year, we’re blown away by how many people take on fundraising challenges and the effort they go through to raise money for our charity.

Becky’s London Marathon

Becky running at a previous eventOne of our regular supporters, Becky Brennan, completed the London Marathon for us and raised money over £1,600 including JustGiving!

Becky says,’Care For Kids has been part of our lives for over 9 years now. From the moment Immy was diagnosed in February 2014, they have been there for us to help out with the financial burden of being away, with a sick child, in a hospital far from home. They have helped out with subsequent, unexpected trips and stays on Bristol Children’s Hospital since then, and we will always be so grateful to the whole team for their support’.

Congratulations on your achievement Becky, and thank you!

Matt’s South Downs Way 50

His challenge forms part of the fundraising target of Commando Logistics Regiment Sergeants’ Mess at RMB Chivenor, who aim to raise £1,000 for us this year. Matt has raised £238 including Gift Aid, well done!
