We’re on the look-out for more local businesses to sponsor our annual Barnstaple 10k in July.

The Care for Kids Barnstaple 10k takes place on Sunday 9 July 2023, starting and finishing at Park Community School. Now in its seventh year, the event is attended by up to 400 runners and their families, and raises between £8,000 and £10,000 for charity.

The event couldn’t take place without the support of local businesses, who are given the opportunity to attend on the day and have their logos featured on the race shirts and promotional materials. Previous sponsors have also entered teams in the race, which adds a friendly but competitive edge to the event!

Sponsors so far

So far, the Barnstaple 10k 2023 is supported by Brewer, Harding & Rowe Solicitors (headline sponsors), Leo Workwear, TT Electronics, Advanced Pallet Systems and TDK Lambda. There is still the opportunity for other local businesses to sponsor the event. Get in touch if your business can help.

Care for Kids Charity Manager, Jacky Massos, says: ‘Last year we raised over £8,000, which wouldn’t have been possible without our lovely sponsors. It’s always a fun event, made even better by the involvement of our sponsors on the day. Get in touch with us if you’d like to be involved!’

Tim Watson from Brewer, Harding and Rowe Solicitors, says: ‘We are thrilled to sponsor this fantastic event and play our part in helping to raise funds for a great cause. Care for Kids is a wonderful local charity who provide excellent support to those most in need. Several members of our staff take part each year and we look forward to another great race this year.’

More about the run

All proceeds from the run will go towards our charity, which provides financial support to North Devon families who have a child diagnosed with a life threatening illness or condition. Care for Kids also carries out enhancements at the children’s ward at North Devon District Hospital.
