Charity cycle raises £1,500 for Care for Kids North Devon
Congratulations to Craig Jackson and Steve Pepper, who completed the Prudential Ride London 100 at the weekend.
The pair took on the Ride London 100 mile cycling challenge through London and Surrey with 25,000 other participants.
Craig completed the course in 6 hours 40 minutes and Steve followed in a time of 7 hours and 42 minutes. Well done to both riders. Their amazing efforts raised over £1,500, which is a super amount for our charity and will go a long way to help local families.
Care for Kids North Devon provides financial support for families of children diagnosed with life threatening illnesses. This is normally through a grant to help pay for travel and overnight expenses for hospital visits outside the area. Funds are also being used to enhance the children’s ward at North Devon District Hospital.

If you fancy taking on a charity challenge for us, be it running, cycling or a skydive, please get in touch. There are also lots of ideas on our fundraising page, if you’d rather to something a little less energetic, such as a cake sale! There are so many ways you can help.
