Today we are pleased to announce that we’ve been chosen as the Perrigo Braunton site’s charity of the year for 2021. The Perrigo Company Charitable Foundation has donated £20,000 to enable us complete another project at NDDH children’s ward.
We will be using the funds primarily to refurbish cubicle 3 at the Caroline Thorpe ward. This will make the room more comfortable for children who need to spend longer periods on the ward.
When will work begin?
We hope to complete the refurbishment of cubicle 3 early next year. Finishing touches to the room will include a new wall mounted smart TV, games console and digital art. Finally, a new chair bed to allow parents to stay overnight comfortably will complete the transformation. These investments will help make stays on the Children’s Ward a more positive experience for local children and their families.
