Great news! The Norman Family Charitable Trust has awarded us a grant of £1,500.

We will use the funds to help with the running costs of our charity. This means we can concentrate our efforts on fundraising for local families.

Jacky Massos, Charity Manager, says: “We are very pleased to receive this grant from The Norman Family Charitable Trust to help us continue our work to support local families. We will put the funding to immediate use and it is very gratefully received. We rely on fundraising, grants and donations. Therefore, support from organisations like the Norman Family Charitable Trust is essential to keep our charity running.”

Each year, we help between 10 and 20 families who are given the devastating news that their child has a life threatening illness or condition. We help with the unexpected costs of getting their child treatment at specialist children’s hospitals. This can be travel, overnight stays and loss of earnings.

In addition, we carry out improvement projects at Caroline Thorpe children’s ward at North Devon District Hospital. Making the ward a more comfortable place for poorly children and their families.

Finally, can you help? Please consider donating or fundraising for us.
