Hang a happy thought on the children’s ward Christmas tree
‘Hang a happy thought’ on the children’s ward Christmas tree this year. Send some Christmas wishes or say thank you to the amazing staff who treat our little ones on the Caroline Thorpe ward at NDDH.
For a minimum donation of £3, we’ll write your happy thought on a paper bauble and some little patient helpers will cover it in glitter and hang it on the children’s ward Christmas tree!
‘Hang a happy thought’ baubles can be ordered on our website, for a minimum donation of £3. Don’t forget to add your ‘happy thought’ or message when you place your order.
“We thought it would be a nice idea to send our love and happy thoughts to the staff and patients at the Caroline Thorpe children’s ward this year and raise some money which will directly help them at the same time. If your child has been supported by one of the special doctors or nurses who work on the ward, maybe you’d like to express your thanks or wish them a merry Christmas. Or you might want to send your love to the little ones who are unfortunately having to spend Christmas on the ward.”
Jacky Massos, Care for Kids North Devon
“Despite it being a hospital ward, Caroline Thorpe ward is still a special place to be at Christmas. We hang decorations, give gifts to the children and even have a visit from the big man in red! Hanging some happy thoughts on our tree will be a lovely activity for the children on the ward and spread a bit of cheer amongst the staff too. Send your thoughts, and donations, our way!”
