Care for Kids North Devon has launched ‘Give More for Cubicle 4’, a new fundraising campaign to transform an individual children’s room at Caroline Thorpe ward.
Last year, Care for Kids North Devon completely transformed the cubicle 5 isolation room at the children’s ward at North Devon District Hospital. The refurbishment was so well received by local families that the charity is asking us to ‘Give more for Cubicle 4’. This new fundraising campaign aims to give cubicle 4 the same 5-star makeover as cubicle 5.
“We were so pleased with the results of the refurbishment of cubicle 5 last year that we wanted to do more. Many of the families we support through our charity will spend days, even weeks on the ward. We want to make them feel comfortable and relaxed during their stay. Making the environment around them welcoming and peaceful can make a big difference during a difficult time. Please support our efforts to ‘Give more for cubicle 4’.”
Jacky Massos, Charity Manager, Care for Kids North Devon
“Over the years Care for Kids North Devon has transformed the play room, parents’ room and cubicle 5. These projects make a massive difference to the comfort of our patients and their families. It will be fantastic if we can raise enough money to refurbish another room. So, please support our campaign in whatever way you can.”
