We have some exciting news! Our application for funding from the Garfield Weston Foundation has been successful. We have been awarded £7,500 to help with our running costs over the next 12 months.

This will be a massive help to our charity and will allow us to concentrate our fundraising efforts on generating funds for the families we support.

We have a busy year ahead, carrying out another big project at the Caroline Thorpe ward. We’re also relaunching our annual Barnstaple 10k after a two year break. So this funding will make a big difference over the coming year.

Established over 60 years ago in 1958, the Garfield Weston Foundation is a family-founded, grant-making charity which supports causes across the UK. In the most recent financial year it gave over £98 million. Since it was established, it has exceeded donations of more than £1.3 billion, of which well over half has been given in the past ten years.
