Please line up on the sports field at 9.50 for a race brief, the run will start promply at 10.am.
Parking is at Park and Ride and Rock Park but is limited, if you can car share or walk to the event that would help everyone get a space.
Tea and coffee cakes will be availibe to purchase before and after the race, if you or anyone you know can bake us a cake that would be a great help, just bring along on race morning.
There is a drinks staion just before mile 3.
We will also be having a raffle and there will be a couple of stalls face painting and a beach towel stall.

Our Care for Kids team are overwhelmed with the amazing support we have had from everyone and we know a lot of you are pushing yourselves to run this race and support us. Many of you also are raising money for the Charity so thank you all so much we couldn’t do our work without you. All profits made from this event will be going to help local families and be supporting the Children’s ward. The race is full and has exceeded any expectations we had fantastic!!

The 10k will start at Park school on the sports field, and then will meander around the historic Rock Park. The race continues along Taw Vale and the Strand using the Tarka Trail and over the Taw Bridge, which is the steepest part of the course. The race will return back to the town square along the river side and continue back into Rock Park finishing at Park School.

The course is predominately off road using the Tarka Trail and public pavements; it is a flat, fast course perfect for a first race as well as an ideal opportunity to gain a personal best.
