Barnstaple Round Table has chosen us as one of the charities to benefit from its winter fundraising efforts this year.

After the success of the Barnstaple District Round Table Fireworks display last year, they are back on Sunday 6th November at Barnstaple Rugby Club. Gates open from 5.30pm and the event starts at 7pm.

This year the event will be supporting to local charities, Care for Kids North Devon and Encompass. Both are deserving local charities supporting families and individuals across the North Devon area.

Barnstaple Round Table Chairman, Andrew Ridley, stated “I still can’t get over the success of last year’s event where we were able to donate £6,000 each to Chemohero and North Devon Hospice which was a record for the event. We hope again to have another successful event this year as we are supporting Care for Kids and Encompass both local and deserving charities.”

The event normally attracts more than 6,000 people. Hot and cold refreshments are provided by Barnstaple Rugby Club and The Voice radio station for North Devon provides public address and music for the event. This is the largest public firework display in North Devon and Barnstaple Roundtable has been putting this event on for well over fifty years.

Andrew goes on to say, “It would be very difficult to put on an event of this size without the commitment and support from Barnstaple Round Table members and other neighbouring clubs from Bideford and Ilfracombe who come and support us and a big thank goes to Barnstaple Rugby Club and the Two Tiger fireworks display who always put on a great display. Due to the cost-of-living crisis we have kept the ticket prices as the same as last year.”

You can book your early bird discounted tickets for this year’s event by visiting the Barnstaple Round Table Facebook or you can purchase them at the event. Early bird tickets cost £4 (child), £5 (adult), £15 (family). On the gate tickets cost £5 (child), £6 (adult), £20 (family).
