Enter our Barnstaple 10k today!
The Care for Kids Barnstaple 10k will take place on Sunday 9 July 2023, starting and finishing at Park Community School. Our headline sponsors are Brewer, Harding & Rowe Solicitors LLP.
There will be a medal and tshirt for all finishers* and prizes for the fastest runners in each age category.
“Our 10K this year raised over £8,800 for our charity – it was amazing. We want next year to be even bigger, so we’re encouraging people to enter early. Get in quick if you want to take advantage of our early bird offer.”
The course
The 10K will start at Park school on the sports field, and then meander around the historic Rock Park. The race continues along Taw Vale and the Strand using the Tarka Trail and over the Taw Bridge, which is the steepest part of the course. The race will return back to the town square along the riverside and continue back into Rock Park finishing at Park School.
The course is predominately off road using the Tarka Trail and public pavements; it is a flat, fast course perfect for a first race as well as an ideal opportunity to gain a personal best. Approximately measured 10K.
